Aluminum tanker plate
Lightweight of the vehicle is a big trend for the tank truck.The aluminum plate is of light weight and excellent corrosion resistance, therefore the aluminum alloy load tanker is about 20% lighter than steel tank truck of the same size, but transportation can be increased by 30%. It also reduces fuel consumption and tire wear during transportation, thereby reducing daily operating costs and maintenance costs.
Aluminum alloy load tankers have good compatibility with most chemical media and foods such as acetone, benzene, gasoline, diesel, kerosene, glacial acetic acid,etc. Aluminum plate has good electrical conductivity and energy absorption performance. When the tanker collides,no sparks will be generated, thereby reducing the occurrence of accidents such as explosions.

The use of aluminium plates for oil tank truck
The aluminum plate for the tank body is welded with 5083 aluminum alloy plate. The plate thickness is 5~6mm.
The other parts like the washboard, bulkhead and tank head are also of 5083 aluminum plate. The wall thickness of the tanker head is equal to or greater than that of the tank body. The thickness of the bulkhead and washboard is 1mm thinner than the tank body.
The thickness of the left and right support plates at the bottom of the tank is 6-8mm, and the material is a 5A06 aluminum plate. There are guardrails and walking platforms on the top of the tank. The walking platforms are made of aluminum tread plate
